Our individual counseling services are designed to help you overcome challenges and achieve goals set in therapy. Rates listed below are for self-pay clients. Rates with insurance companies vary and copays depend on the plan associated with the client.
Psychiatric Initial Evaluation - $175
Individual Session - $150
Therapeutic Freedom offers supervision services through a private practice counseling setting. We are dedicated to providing supervision services that improve the clinical and administrative development of counselors in training. Rates below are for lower licensed clinicians in need of individual supervision for full licensure. Licensee's are responsible for logging and keeping track of all clinical hours. 60 minutes - $50
Virtual consultation sessions to evaluate needs of ESA. Client would need to complete a total of 4 sessions before ESA letter is administered. ESAs are commonly given to those living with mental disabilities or emotional conditions such as anxiety, depression, PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder), and other types of mental disorders which can be found in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual.

If you need to cancel, please do so at least 12 hours prior to your scheduled appointment, unless there is a valid emergency. To cancel, please email admin@therapeuticfreedom.com or call (301) 291-5601. Any cancellations after the 12 hour mark will incur the $100 fee.
Please Note: After two no-shows/late cancellations, portal access will be revoked and possible termination of services.
All balances must be taken care of prior to your next session. Any outstanding balance, without prior notice, will result in cancellation of appointments until amount due is satisfied.

1. Create an account through client portal through the appointment button above. Once your account is created in the portal, you would schedule a Psychiatric Diagnostic Evaluation for the initial session, which lasts 60 minutes. You are able to schedule a free 15 minute phone/video consultation before scheduling an initial session, if needed.
Lawfully and Ethically, the relationship between a client and a mental health therapist, along with information shared, cannot be disclosed without written permission by the client.

I am licensed to practice in the State of Maryland. All new and current client's must reside in Maryland, with a proper Maryland address, in order to be seen by therapists.
Yes, depending on when initial paperwork is submitted. If all paperwork is completed prior to first session, you will know all information surrounding copays/deductibles. If there is a delay with the completion of paperwork, copay/deductible information will be given after claims are submitted.
The No Surprises Act, which is part of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021, is designed to protect clients from receiving unexpected medical bills. The Good Faith Estimate provision of the No Surprises Act is designed to give clients an estimate of how much they’ll be charged for the healthcare services they’ll be receiving, prior to their appointment.
Good Faith Estimates will only be provided for client's utilizing Out of Network Benefits or Self Pay fees to have an accurate picture of your healthcare billing for the year. For more detailed information on the Good Faith Estimate or GFE, click here.
Each September, there will be a review of fees to determine if there is a need to increase. All clients will be notified at least 2 months prior to any fee changes and provided feasible options to remain with us!
